The "20" Rifle & Pistol Club was founded in 1966 by twenty members of the local community, hence the club name. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization with 500 members! Our club has a continued tradition of member involvement within the community through various educational programs, public events and firearms training. We pride ourselves as stewards of responsible firearms ownership, hunter ethics and the importance of involving our youth in meaningful outdoor activities.
Our members are our strongest trait. We understand the importance of sharing knowledge, showing patience and having a strong determination. These attributes largely define a person's character, and ultimately, a society. Our members are proof of how important the outdoors are in building these fundamental attributes. We value what these simple attributes have provided and will continue to provide.
Our club also recognizes the importance of protecting our future in America. We address this philosophy by encouraging preparedness through classroom and outdoor training. We host public events, offer certified classroom education and hands-on training. Our club offers a safe, low-cost facility to improve a person's knowledge and skill.

The Straight River Archery Club was formed in 1988 when a local group of archers approached members of The "20" Rifle & Pistol Club. An agreement was reached and the Straight River Archery Club became a division of The "20" Rifle & Pistol Club. Soon after, members began construction on a 60 yard outdoor archery range. Bails were purchased, bow hangers were constructed and signs were raised. We've continued to use the "Straight River Archery Club" name for archery events, but aside from this, we are "The '20' Rifle & Pistol Club".
Our club hosts three 3D shoots each year. We provide a challenging wooded course consisting of 30 realistic, high-quality targets (mostly Rinehart targets with some McKenzie) that range in size from racoons to moose. Our course includes raised shooting platforms which adds to a realistic hunting situation. We encourage anyone who hunts to participate in 3D shooting events. It's a fantastic way to improve the skills you need to be successful in the field!
We also include a running deer novelty shot as well as snacks and refreshments which can be enjoyed on our deck or screened porch.
Our 10-60 yard archery range, with raised platform, remains open to the public during archery events.
