Bring clothing to be comfortable in the current outdoor environment, as about 4 hours of activities will take place outside. It is strongly recommended to wear rubber or waterproof boots when there is rain, melting snow cover, puddles or mud. Class still occurs under most weather conditions. (Note: if there is a cancellation due to extreme weather conditions you will be notified via email the night before)
You may bring a firearm of some sore preferable a .22 caliber. If you don't have a .22 caliber, it is premisable to bring a different firearm as long as it is in good working condition. Students will use their firearm for the field exercise. In most cases students will use our .22 caliber bolt action rifles on the firing line for safety reasons. It is much easier for range officers to identify open chambers and help avoid unsafe situations.
Do NOT bring any ammunition of any kind!
