The "20" Rifle & Pistol Club is a strong advocate of educating young people. Our club contributes to the well being of our area through providing access and information to local schools and youth organizations. We feel that shooting sports is a powerful tool in the advancement of America's youth. We provide an oppourtunity that children in modern society often don't have. Which is, to use the outdoors to gain understanding and confidence in one's self. Shooting sports is an activity that helps develop the minds of our youth while stressing the principal of responsibility.

Marksmanship is an effort of discipline. Marksmanship doesn't rely on one's physical attributes, but instead relies on preparation, focus and patience. These are basic principles of sucess that can be easily passed on to young minds through shooting sports, regardless of an individual's challenges in life.

We also help introduce kids to the outdoors. The outdoors raises curiousity in children and is an unbiased way to stimulate a young person's thought process. It's a way to spark interests that are truly relevant in life. And it's no surprise that the more a person understands the outdoors, the more values they adhere to. Our club acts as a necessary guide for our young people to live in a dignified manner.

Our club also supports law enforcement and public safety. We have a working relationship with local law enforcement agencies and provide resources to help keep our peace officers and communities safe.

Our club is involved with the following courses; Minnesota DNR Hunter Safety Course, Carry & Conceal Classes/Training (personal protection), Bowhunter Education and Advanced Bowhunter Education.
